What steps do I follow to install the Activation Key?

  1. In the Downloads Your Files email sent immediately after you purchased, click the Download1 link to download the file with your personal Activation Key. Print or write down the code. Check your spam folder if you did not receive that email. If you still can’t find it, contact support@flip-pal.com for a replacement key.
  2. If you don’t already have Toolbox version 4, click here to download and install it.
  3. Run the Toolbox 4 software by browsing to the SD card and clicking on the file
    Win Flip-Pal Toolbox 4.exe
  4. Click the Record tab.
  5. Enter your personal Activation Key from step 1.

Where can I store all of these audio stories and how do I share them ?

StoryScans files are stored in their own directory on the SD card.
/DCIM/100_SCAN/StoryScans

They are standard .mp4 movie files, so you can share and store them as usual through email and most types of social media and online sharing and storage sites.

Does StoryScans work on my Kindle Fire ?

The Eye-Fi Mobi is capable of doing the wireless transfer to Kindle Fire. Click here for instructions on installing the Mobi app for Android devices.

However, the Kindle Fire uses a customized version of the Android OS, and at this time the ScanTools app does not work with Amazon’s version of Android.
