A few decades ago, it was easy to take care of our photo collections. Today, between tablets, phones, and digital cameras, taking pictures is easier than ever, but how to keep them cataloged and in formats easy to share is anything but straightforward. In fact, INFO-trends estimates that 1.4 trillion photographs will be taken in 2017 thus there is a growing need for professionals called photo organizers to help people make sense of their growing photo collections.
Who are the Photo Organizers?
The Photo Organizers are people just like you! They care about photos and the stories they tell and have found a calling to help people manage their photo collections. A career as a photo organizer is meaningful and essential. A families photos and videos are an entrée into their lives, memories of weddings, graduations, births, vacations, memorials, grandparents, aunts and uncles are priceless. They are the moment’s people want to remember, but it is getting harder every month to keep track of the endless photos taken.
What does a Photo Organizer Do?
A photo organizer helps people connect to their photos and stories so that all generations can share and enjoy them. Their first objective is to help their clients set a goal by asking questions. If I could wave a magic wand over your photo collection what would make you most happy? The answers aren’t surprising. My photos are a mess, and I just don’t know how to get started. Can you really help?
The Answer is YES!
A growing profession has arisen to meet this need. Just like the concept of a personal trainer or coach, personal photo organizers work alongside their clients. Whether it’s helping organize printed and digital photos, scanning, backing up, creating keepsake photo books, wall art, and photo gifts, or converting old media to newer formats, a personal photo organizer is there to help you make sure people enjoy their memories today and leave a legacy for future generations.
