Preserve Holiday Traditions at Family Gatherings

Family Thanksgiving traditions dinner tableOne of the best parts about gathering with family and friends throughout the holidays is how easily we catch up on each others’ lives, discuss future plans, reminisce about the past and generally enjoy the company of people we care about. These great gatherings should be remembered and cherished. This year preserve them forever.

There’s always something you talk about with family that you’d like to remember, a photo you wish you copied, a note you wish you wrote or a recipe you’d like to make. Make a plan to preserve the stories around your holiday traditions. Create a Pack-and-Go list for using your Flip-Pal mobile scanner at the holiday gatherings and remind yourself with a note on the calendar. Read this blog for top reasons to take the scanner with you. Don’t make the mistake I did when I thought I overpacked and decided to leave home without it. I still regret it.

Shop for the Travel Value PackYour Pack-and-Go list starts with the Flip-Pal Travel Value Pack.  It combines the scanner, Hardshell Case, Samson Go-Mic, and StoryScans activation at a discounted price.  Highly recommended is to bring a spare set of batteries. Click here to buy the rechargeables with charger recommended for Flip-Pal.  Everything should fit nicely into the Flip-Pal Hardshell Case with your tablet, protected from drops, bumps, dirt, and scratches.

Use the StoryScans software to record voices and combine it with the scan to create an image that speaks. Think creatively. Now is the time to gather the memorabilia that you’ll use. You can scan photos, portraits, hand-drawn art, medals, certificates, the hands of the young ones. Scan the tiny feet of newborns and record their cooing sound.

While we’re making each laugh and gabbing over good food this season, it’s a great opportunity to preserve holiday traditions as StoryScans talking images. Don’t wait. Time marches on and there may never be another occasion when everyone is together as they are this year.
