Windows antivirus software can dramatically slow down the Flip-Pal Toolbox software (stitching, Storyscans, and editing) when it is run from the SD card. There is an easy way to speed it up – copy the Flip-Pal Toolbox files from the SD card to a folder that you create on your internal drive. This example is for Windows 7. Other operating systems may differ.
Create a folder on the desktop by right-clicking an open area and selecting New Folder. Name it Flip-Pal Toolbox.
Copy the files on the Flip-Pal SD card to that folder by selecting and dragging them.
For convenience, you can create a shortcut on the desktop.
- Right click the file Win Flip-Pal Toolbox
- While holding down the button, move the cursor away from the file. You should see a symbol like this:
Drag the symbol onto the desktop and let go of the button.
- Select “Create Shortcut here” from the window. A shortcut to the Flip-Pal Toolbox software will be on your desktop
